Aglaonema Pictum Tricolor – Picture shows in a 4″ nursery pot

Care Tips:

Light: Low – Bright Indirect
Water: 2 Weeks
Humidity: Medium – High
Pet Friendly: No

Aglaonema pictum tricolor thrives in medium to bright indirect light. You can also grow them in low light. However, the growth of the plant will be slower and watering will be less frequent. Also, the variegation on the leaves will be less. Please let the soil get 90% dry between watering. The watering is somewhat between 10 – 15 days as every house is different in terms of heat, humidity, and light. It is highly recommended to use room temperature water to water your plants as we do not want to shock the roots with hot or cold water. Aglaonemas are tropical plants and enjoy humidity. A regular misting will make the plant very happy and healthy.

Description:

Aglaonema pictum tricolor is one of the sought-after rare aglaonemas, which is not very commonly available and perfect for plant collectors. It is also known as the camouflage plant because of its unique pattern. It performs quite well in low light conditions. However, for the best variegation, medium to bright indirect would be ideal.

Aglaonema is a genus of flowering plants in the arum family, Araceae. They are native to tropical and subtropical regions of Asia and New Guinea. They are known commonly as Chinese evergreens. You can learn more about aglaonemas here.
