Philodendron Cordatum Lime – Picture shows in a 4″ nursery pot
Light: Low – Bright
Water: 7 – 10 Days
Pet Friendly: No
Philodendron cordatum lime thrives in medium to bright indirect light. You can also easily grow them in low light. However, the growth of the plant will be slower and watering will be less frequent. Please let the soil get 90%-95% dry between watering. The watering is somewhat between 10 -15 days as every house is different in terms of heat, humidity, and light. It is highly recommended to use room temperature water to water your plants as we do not want to shock the roots with hot or cold water. Philodendrons are tropical plants and love high humidity. A regular misting will make the plant very happy and healthy. However, they can be grown in room humidity without any issues.
The Philodendron cordatum lime is a beautiful houseplant. The heart-shaped leaves are bright lime. This plant is native to a small region in Southeastern coastal Brazil. With the proper growing condition and care, this is a fairly easy houseplant to successfully grow indoors. This is a vining philodendron that grows very well with the support of a moss pole or just hanging from a basket.
Philodendron is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae. This is the second-largest member of the family Araceae, after the genus Anthurium. Many are grown as ornamental and indoor plants. The name derives from the Greek words Philo- or “love, affection” and dendron or “tree”. Around the world, many growers widely cultivate a range of hybrids and cultivars. To learn more about philodendrons, please click here.
